Ralph Waite, one of the last great american male actors died on February 13th, 2014 of natural causes at the age of 85. He was right up there with John Wayne and Paul Newman as a manly man's actor. He played roles in such movies as cool hand luke and has starred in many hit tv series including the waltons and bonanza. He even ran in a special election in 1998, losing only by five points. His acting career led right up until his death, at the time he was playing roles in the CBS drama NCIS and the FOX television series Bones. He will be forever missed from the silver screen and america's living rooms. Goodnight Ralph, for the last time.
